                                    CLARIFIES FOR BUSINESS RESULT
                                    Sino-Thai  Engineering & Construction Plc added informations as stated 
 in SET DAILY dated Sep 5, 1997 as follows:
     1.  The  financial  statement  ending  Dec 31, 1997 was more available 
 because  HTR  Co Ltd's Q2/1997 financial statement which was not reviewed 
 may complicate most of statements if it was included.
     2.  Building  and  reinforced  building could be used as imediately as 
 they  are  repaired  as  there  are already facilitated with water, roads, 
 electricity.
     3.  Book  value  of  HTR  Co  Ltd ending Q2/1997 = Bt584,494,613.94 or 
 Bt11.69 per share
     4.  Value of plot of land is the same as the near land of Thai Special 
 Steel, which was sold to Regional Electricity Generating Authority.
     5. Business of HTR Co Ltd : based on non-tangible assets ending Dec 31,
