PURCHASES ATL'S SHARES

Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Plc (STECON) reported the resolutions made at its executive board meeting no.47/1994 on December 16, 1994 to purchase common shares of Aokam Thai Plc (ATL), a company that has its shares listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). The shares to be purchased amount to 500,000 shares or a 3.84% stake of the paid-up shares at Bt31 apiece worth Bt15.5 million.
